Daniel Holt is a Solution Engineering Manager at Cockroach Labs.

As a leader of Sales Engineering team for the International organization (think everything outside the Americas ) I am responsible for recruiting, leading and developing teams of highly skilled presales consultants, engineers and architects. This highly visible and impactful role serves as a key leader in Cockroach Labs Revenue Organization, and acts as a trusted member of the EMEA Leadership Team.

In my day to day role i direct the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and revenue objectives. Including

• Management of the hiring, staffing and development of a diverse and effective workforce
• Develop and execute technical engineering selling strategies and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide technical expertise in selecting, implementing and developing competitive product applications and solutions.
• Work closely with peers within Revenue and other business units to develop & share effective strategies and improve team members ability to execute on strategic goals and Personal goals.
• Build, maintain & communicate reporting on key operational metrics
